Experience for yourself how pleasant a
trip to the dentist can really be.
New patients are always welcome!

Parkway Smiles Dental was established in 2009, as a general and family dental practice, catering to the Bay Area community. Most of our patients over the years have become good friends and a happy part of our day. At Parkway Smiles Dental, we believe that oral health greatly affects a person's general well-being and overall physical condition. That is why our focus will always be on providing our patients with the highest quality dental care possible. This includes using the latest in dental technology and innovations in the field of dentistry as well as discussing treatment options best suited to meet the unique needs of each patient.

So come and experience for yourself how pleasant a trip to the dentist can really be. New patients are always welcome!

Appointment Guidelines

Effective April 3, 2023, patients will no longer be required to wear a mask upon entry. However, patients are welcome to wear a mask if they prefer. Our staff will continue to follow infection control guidelines, including wearing universal precaution PPE.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency’s recommendations.

Our dental team takes extra measures to keep your visit as safe and smooth as possible. We appreciate your full cooperation.

Please take time to familiarize yourself with our updated appointment guidelines.

  • Our office policies and appointment protocols may be subject to change, sometimes immediately.

  • Kindly update us with any changes to your coverage details and medical history prior to your visit. Forms can be accessed easily now through our website.

  • Hand sanitizers are available for use when you enter the office. You may sanitize your hands anytime.

  • Seating is limited and is only for patients with appointments. Plan your visit so you can arrive on time to limit your waiting. We will do our best to be on time with our schedule; we will communicate with you in advance in case we anticipate running behind schedule.

  • Our lobby will only be open for patients with appointments who are either checking in or checking out. We aim for patients to have the least amount of contact time during their visit.

  • Adult patients should come to their appointment alone.

  • Minors (age 17 and below) can be accompanied by one adult. If accompanying adult doesn't have an appointment at the same time as the minor, adult must stay preferably outside in their vehicle, while minor is in treatment. Adults may also plan to pick up the minor patient when treatment is finished. The accompanying adult may enter the premises to discuss and sign for treatment plans, make a payment or schedule future appointments for minor patient.

  • Adult elderly patients needing assistance can be accompanied by one adult. If accompanying adult doesn't have an appointment at the same time as the elderly patient, accompanying adult must stay preferably outside in their vehicle, while elderly patient is in treatment.

  • Visits and dental treatments are by appointment. We strongly encourage you to call, email or send a text message if you want to set up an appointment.

  • If you need to reschedule we ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice, to avoid incurring a broken appointment fee. You may inform our office during the weekend by leaving a voicemail, sending an SMS or email; we will make note of the time stamp.

  • Broken or failed appointments will incur a fee, regardless of reason.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

Sincerely,

Your team at Parkway Smiles Dental (updated 3/2023)
